Join the opening lecture in a series of annual talks by the 62 Group. The 62 group is an artist led organisation founded in 1962 which has some of the most highly regarded British & International textile artists as members and aims to incorporate and challenge the boundaries of textile practice through presenting an innovative programme of exhibitions and events. Guest speaker Jessica Hemmings, Professor of Crafts at the Academy of Design & Crafts (HDK), University of Gothenburg will time travel to 2028' and imagine the future of textile art. Textile artist Caron Penney will showcase 62 Group’s new exhibition, CTRL/Shift.
