Sound Salon aims to fuel critical discussion, new vocabulary and analysis in sound, music and technology, supporting communities and practitioners in these fields to understand how the internet is shaping the field.
In this second series, the conversation broadens to explore how new trends in tech might impact on the music of the future, starting with sound, sexuality and robots. Goldsmith's academic Dr Kate Devlin will be in conversation with Jennifer, discussing her research and unpicking recent debates on the effect of cybersex toys, and robots generally, on human attachment poularised by films such as Her.
